well i made it through the first time with ethan as co-pilot the second time just couldnt make it....not enough rpm's.......so on the ride back( from canaan, nh) blew the alternator wouldnt charge the battery so i had it towed by AAA. Got it to the shop day later had the new alternator put it, that night went up to wells, maine, ran decent up there, as i was getting there heard a squeal outa the front axle...figured it was mud and kept driving, with the radio louder. On the way back no squeal so my assumption was correct on the mud........so i thought. Get back to the house then to the shop to work that day....and yep both front axle seals appear to be blown out and rear main seal finally let go (and i mean let go) The truck now is sitting at my shop...and will be retired now for more then likely the rest of the summer. Im pulling the tranny sending it out to get rebuild, doing the double roller timing chain, doing the seal between the water pump and timing cover, doing the water pump, doing both main seals, and doing the axles seals...what sucks is its going to take forever because the shops always busy. Wish me luck on it, and yah the two times i went through the mud was def. worth the rest of summer in repairs
