« on: August 24, 2009, 11:16:40 AM »
hey everyone i though i had a bad starter it looked good but tested it and it was fine. brought it to a shop tested every electrical thing on it all is well. however when the car is off it drains power from my battery in the end leaving me dead.. any common places for wires to be chewed or bad grounds or anyone had this problem and is there a way of a test that will pinpoint it..? now i have a master shut off to the battery but i have to go under the hood every time i wanna kill the car its only a very temp fix any ideas ill take them (than i can start tackling my axle and my out of controle swaying and steering preventing me from exceeding 40 mph..) thanks!

missed this thread. Best way for find it is start pulling fuses and narrow down which circuit the drain is coming from...

Interested to hear what was causing it.
