I can't believe anyone trying to sell a vehicle would post pics proving he's been beating the hell out of it off-road and not even cleaning it after.

I think he can't move it. In an earlier ad he says he ruined the computer in deep water

i wouldnt doubt thats how the computer died at all given the appearence of the rest of the truck. But seriously, my friend has been coming rovering with me for a while and the only way his parent will let him get a 4x4 of his own is if he fixes it up as a project. Would this be worth the $500? or are there far nicer examples for this kind of money?

It's a LWB, with the 4.2; so as an off-roader I'd hold off. Better to have the SWB, and the more reliable 3.9; IMHO.

SSOoooooooooooo....

Rhonda thinks me buying a beater to take in the woods would be a good idea.. (first dent has magically appeared in the Disco)

If I can get my hands on this for a few hundred.. thinking he'll take 300 since he's been trying for a couple of months to sell it, would it be worth it?

Sounds too fishy to be putting cash down on. Caveat Emptor.

That fuel door was done away with in '91. (GDE is technically a '90)
