Weatherproof Expedition Cases (again)
« on: October 16, 2009, 06:30:29 PM »
My local electronics surplus store has received some more weatherproof miltary storage containers that make excellent containers for us expedition-minded folks.

I'll have to go back and get the exact dimensions, but they were made to transport 3 military laptop computers each. I'm gonna guess that the dimensions of the cases are about 24 inches across, 18" deep and maybe 20" tall. All in excellent condition, sealed from the elements and include push-button type atmospheric vents.

I think I can get them for $55-$60 each in quantity, maybe less, depending on my haggling skills that day. If anyone is interested, please let me know--the last military containers from ecs cases I posted here before sold out pretty quickly.

There were only 6 of these new cases available today, but I think I overheard the boss tell the worker bee that they might have access to more.

These containers are made by Hardigg Cases and look similar to this, but not as deep (only single handle on the side, not double):

I'll post the exact dimensions soon. Anyone who wants me to pick one up for them, just e-mail me at mmasse (at) ZuniRacks (dot) com
