Hey,

The Disco's hood is completely stuck, the battery's dead and the hood pull is stretched, broken, or something. anybody have any ideas how to get the main latch open from the outside?

Can you get a pair of vice grips on the cable from the inside and give it a good yank?

That's the only way I can think of. It's incredibly easy on a d90 you can just use your fingers, but i haven't a clue on a D2

Yeah, I removed the right headlight and pulled with some pliers, and it appears that the issue is in the hood release mechanism its self! I will probably have to start using some harsher methods!:banghead:
