springs and help
« on: November 12, 2009, 11:38:03 AM »
hi everyone i have "big blue springs" on my 90 RRC but i get a lot of roll when I'm driving on high ways (not safe driving at over 55 mph) they give between 2-3 inches of lift, i have had them for under 5k miles if anyone either has sway bars in there truck or wants to put them on a off roader they are great for the trail, again i would not put them on a truck with out sway bars but good for purely off roading, figured it was worth a shot to see if any one wants them for a 150 bucks or so. i just need money to get a lot stiffer springs, i wanna make it to romp but cant drive there as of now.

if anyone has anything to help me out or idea ill take em' i need to be able to use my truck on the high way safely

P.s forrest ill trade you for the disco lol :)

can't help with the selling the springs, but keep an eye on discoweb.org for some deals on springs.  They seem to come up there quite often.  Also check with Paul Grant will tillery or marty(drillbit on discoweb) they are usually parting out a ton of rigs and sometimes have parts as well.

Roverdude (Ithink) on lrrforums.com seems to have some good prices on used springs as well and usually has a set up for sale, he's on the west coast though so shipping might suck.

I will pass on the trade, but good luck, I can only imagine how tough the diso would drive with them, it would roll over at a stoplight.
