I just checked in here - to be honest I had completely forgotten about this fine website with all the drama that seems to go on over at DWeb.

I was at the romp last year with the 2000 D2 with the Isuzu 4BD1T diesel and 5 speed. Since sold, and looking for a D90.

Met some great people last year at the Romp - made a mess of the trail for the Colonel (still feel bad about that! The diff lock would have been a good thing to click on.... I'm an idiot.)

I will be there this year, however I don't think I will have a Rover unless my big International sells really soon or someone trades me a D90 for it. :) So if anyone has an extra seat available any of the days I would really appreciate it - I can be the winch bitch and I'll buy breakfast at Big G's! Ron P has offered to have me ride with him a bit anyway but I recall he's pretty crazy!

Thanks all - and I'm REALLY glad I found the site again.

Doug,

your disco was an awesome machine! I will be bringing a 9 seat 109 so if you want to ride in a series truck i'd be happy to have you along.

Thanks Rob - I'll look you up when we're there. So if you see a guy getting out of a black Audi allroad station wagon that's me. Hell I did just put great new snow tires on it, 330 HP, all wheel drive and locking diff.... maybe I can cut trail with her? Ha!

Doug,

My dad and his friend might be coming up as well, so i hope you didnt burn any bridges with ron, unless you don't mind the fetal-position-enducing back seats of a 109. Just in case they back out, I'll keep you posted as the event nears...

Thanks again, looks like there will be a few people I can jump in with. _ Who knows maybe I'll have a Rover by then? I can hope.

hahaha best of luck to you in your search for a rover. If I know anybody that needs a big international i'll send them your way. I was roverless at romp last year and i know the feeling...  but it wasnt all that bad driving 600+ miles in a reliable car with heat that kept up with highway traffic lol
