Got all the pieces out except the inner (or lower) cup. The remaining cup is  pretty messed up - reusing it wont work.
I'm going to try and get the pitman/drop arm off today (and will probably order another today - hoping it will be here Thur) so I can fit it before Fri.
If I get it off, and get the replacement, I'll be able to work on rebuilding the current one at my leisure (at least that is the plan.)
I'll let you know how things go...

Pitman arm now successfully rebuilt (what a pita - took me a while to figure out that the groove for the circlip was buggered) and back on the truck. Need to verify steering linkage is all tight, deal with the stabilizer and then cleanup - tomorrow.

I should be there late afternoon - getting a ride down and being "dropped off".... I hope the Rover i am planning to purchase sight-unseen is OK! The seller seems like a good guy and the pictures look good. LOL.

I will probably check into the Hotel around 5-6pm or so and then try and thumb a ride from someone to make it to Bruce's or to dinner as my "new" truck won't be showing up 'till 7-8pm they thought. (He's towing his 88 up from the "south" with it)

I am headed out pretty soon as well. I should be down at the hotel around 5 or so it looks like?

If anyone sees me wondering around looking for a ride - pick me up, I'll buy you a beer later when we're safe at the pub.

So this sounds like a personals add but:
I'll be the damned good looking guy, 5'-9" 165 lbs, late 30's, dark hair, 5 o'clock shadow, wearing jeans and a red shirt with a little black on the sleeves, or if it's getting cold again maybe I'll have my red coat on..... you'd think I like red or something? LOL. I will also be checking out the Rovers looking forlorn as I wait for my "new" one to arrive.
