Virus Warning
« on: January 16, 2010, 08:51:48 AM »
Did anyone else get an email stating that they have a virus from System Administrator? I ran a complete virus scan and found nothing. I have concerns that it is a scam that will actually give you a virus if you click on the link so be careful.

I got it - reminded me of the site. Registered last year and with all the drama at DWeb I had forgotten about this much nicer site! :)

Just delete it - it's clearly got to be spam.

Somehow they sent PM's while awaiting moderation. Don't worry about it. Just delete it. The user is gone.

OK, just got a second scam / phishing PM on this board from a LadyrootFIX . That's twice. How about approving new board members before allowing them to post (or do we do that already)?

We do do that already, however they've found a way to PM while waiting to be approved. Looks like it's time to upgrade the boards...

Just remember if you just delete them they do no harm. I'll sort it out. Shouldn't be too much trouble.
