Three Amigos
Hello all! I am doing well in Simpsonville, SC and wheelin' near Asheville/Silva NC as often as I can.
I just completed this pretty straight forward fix for the "Three Amigos".
http://www.landroverclubvi.com/abs-mod.htmlI did "Option B". If you have a multi-meter and a soldering iron, parts will be under $10. It took me about an hour an a half in total. One tip - go buy a 4mm hex-bit socket. It is much easier to use than a standard Allen wrench.
This fix cures the faulty 11.4 Shuttle Valve Switch Failure that causes most of the Three Amigos Fault lights to appear while still allowing the system to throw codes for ABS sensor issues that still need to be corrected.
All ABS, TC and HDC functions work. You may still need to have the codes cleared after the fix. If your Amigos return after this fix, then you most likely have a bad sensor or hub on one of the four corners. I had to address the right front hub as well (since I have 173,000 miles on the vehicle)

Best of luck.
