I added a screenshot of the feed on my PDA to show you what it does. You can see all the latest threads on the forum and the latest replies. You can specify it to get only a certain forum if you like as well.

If you don't know what it is, you probably don't need it :D

No idea. I have no control over how it's made, just whether it's on or off. RSS works great for me. No need for XML so haven't tried it.
