matt...just a thought...could the radiator be junk?

Maybe there are fins missing..CWF...does the radiator look intact?

Bill ha da good look at the whole cooling system and thinks it is in good shape.

When I had a look all the hoses looked to be pretty new or at least really clean lol.

The radiator looks fine as well.

So, Brandt and I are going to try our hands at some more advanced engine work this weekend. We are going to adjust the timing chain - or at least look to see if it needs adjusting, and put stock injectors in. (Steve's got a set he will sell me for $20 so I figure why not?) At the very least I will learn more about the way engines work.

The plan is to do this on Saturday - but if it rains we will postpone to Sunday. I just can't take it anymore with him in his sweet disco and me with my busted hooptey. Check out his recent photos...

anyway, I figure at the very least by doing this I can stop all the people who are going on about how the cam shaft needs adjusting and that the injectors are wrong. I don't see how these things can be true, just logically, but this truck does defy logic.

Anyone want to help?

I would this weekend but it's the Florida road run this weekend. 2 day event sat and sun.
