matt...just a thought...could the radiator be junk????   Maybe there are fins missing..CWF...does the radiator look intact????

When I had a look all the hoses looked to be pretty new or at least really clean lol.

The radiator looks fine as well.

So, Brandt and I are going to try our hands at some more advanced engine work this weekend. We are going to adjust the timing chain - or at least look to see if it needs adjusting, and put stock injectors in. (Steve's got a set he will sell me for $20 so I figure why not?) At the very least I will learn more about the way engines work.

The plan is to do this on Saturday - but if it rains we will postpone to Sunday. I just can't take it anymore with him in his sweet disco and me with my busted hooptey. Check out his recent photos...

anyway, I figure at the very least by doing this I can stop all the people who are going on about how the cam shaft needs adjusting and that the injectors are wrong. I don't see how these things can be true, just logically, but this truck does defy logic.

Anyone want to help?
