I wonder what a set of 8" wide wheels cost.  I think the AR's are cheap (guess you get what you pay for !)

the 15x8 were like 60 bucks a pop don't recall the price on the 16x8's though but they weren't much worse.  I was looking at those when I needed rims since my LR ones were chromed from the factory and weren't holding air anymore due to the chrome coming off :(

Don here are some for sale in mass for 240 on craigslist.  They're jackman rims I've heard these are pretty tough but I'm not positive the backspace is right for a RRC

I would go with 7 in wide for 235/85 since that is a fairly narrow tire

I would have liked to find a set of steelies with less backspacing than the stock aluminum wheels - to widen the stance slightly, then open up the wheel wells for larger tires (put the DII flares on), although the stock disco diffs aren't really up to bigger meat.    Then I was thinking Toy diff swap (I did find a set of 3rds for cheap, and I do custom axle stuff on the side, so not a hard swap to do) which would necessitate larger 30 spline shafts F+R, then lockers - one at least in the rear diff.  It's all a slipperly slope.

So here it still sits, as is.
