1974 Military series
« on: May 22, 2008, 07:48:27 PM »
My father called me last night found a series on craigs list for $350.  it is a military 88" with a tailgate and liftgate, I have not seen it yet but it apparently has a series IIA dash.  it rolls and apparently ran recently.  it came with an electric winch used for the plow it has.  I will see it this weekend but I an pretty excited, not to mention how good of a deal it was.  Its our first military, what is going to be different?

You get more legroom :). At least in the 109's. I would assume the 88's as well.

thanks, I will clean it up a little this week, apparently a corner of the rear tub is crushed in, but its kind of a good thing this way I won't feel bad cutting it and making a tray back 100 truck on my RRC chassis.

The military will have slightly different frame, prolly dual tanks (that fill under seat) and some different lights and switches. All very cool shit.

I have at last count something like 30 series tubs if you need one.
