twin tube of 1 5/8 or 2 inch steel tubing for the main part of the bumper. I have both but I want to chop and redrill the mount first so I can see which will fit better once I move the mount up and in. That's the main reason I didn't bend the tube last night. I did however line up the use of the machining equipment for tomorrow at the amsa shop. So hopefully that mount will be chopped and fabbed up tomorrow.
I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to fab up a A-bar for the front or just do a small raised tube for light mounts.
My Dad is hooked on the idea of chopping the old Brush guard up to modify and reuse in the bumper to keep the protection for the fragile marker lights.. Not sure about that yet.
Follow up post:I started the chop of the mount tonight. My new harbor tool and freight air cut-off tool is doing a great job. It's a little slow going but not bad at all.
Should have it done tomorrow night after I get back from the Rib Fest at the Budwieser brewery.
