thats a easy leak!!! jack the front and support it pull your swivel balls soo you can pull the axle shafts out abit, pull the drive shaft.unbolt the the diff drop onto hand and fingers scream and swear  then scrap old gasket material off, apply new gasket goop of your choice, and reverse process and fill. they drive happy knowing you stoped one of the many leaks!!

Buy a $20 sewer cap. Cut the old cover off....weld the new one on. Bomb proof, and perhaps even Army proof (the real test)

I need to practice my welding a bit before I tackle that one but that's not a big deal.  I've been reading up on this very conversion since Russ mentioned it.

Matt the dumb question for me I guess is in my reading some say that you have to replace the steering tie rod to gain clearance.  Is that correct?  If so is there a brand that's better to go with for this application?

As you can see here: http://rovertracks.com/products/accessories.html

If you make that thing stick farther out, it can interfere with your panhard rod. Usually you have to remove it to get anything on your front diff anyway.
