I got a copy sitting on my desk waiting to be installed on my game machine.  Got to get my Unix skills back up...

I've never used linux before so this has been a real learning experience for me.  I think tonight I'm going to try and use wine to wrap itunes to see if I can get it working in ubuntu.  I need my cartalk podcasts damnit

Thanks Chris I'm reading over the MiroTV one now and that looks promising.

Found that miro TV is basically snippets of vids which is cool.

I used wine to get itunes to install and it opens up but so far functionality has not been great but I'm going to keep reading and trying on that one.

Off on another linux tangent, I discovered carputers on the sight and have now been reading up on those.  I need a cheap 7" touch screen lol.  I have enough other crap laying around I could build a decent box in the trunk and have it all in the saab :)

Ubuntu is bomb.

I'm a huge proponent of open source apps, but my absolute hatred of pretentious Linux followers prevented me from biting the bullet and installing a build of it on any of my machines.

I finally broke down last year and started with Fedora, then changed over to Ubuntu this year. I'm dual booting Vista/Ubuntu on my laptop, and I'm running Fedora 9 through Virtualbox on my desktop.

At this point Windows has been ingrained into my skull, so I'll always prefer it for personal use, but I admire the hell out of Linux. Plus I could spend hours tinkering with the damn thing.
