Meet and Greet Schedule For Fall
« on: August 07, 2008, 09:26:31 PM »
Hello Members ! I am thinking of a new schedule for the meets come fall. I think it would be a great idea if we plan the meets on the same weekend every month....For instance the third Sunday of every month. this way here you know in advance that the 3rd weekend is for the club event !!!   lets decide so we can get back on track w/ the meets. as usual, submit the event in advance and we will post it on the calender. This summer we let it slide from that format. I realized that summer is a hectic time of year for planned events, so we should dicuss dropping the summer months (july/August) from the club event schedule. Fall and winter can be a fun time on the trails. we have winter romp in FEB.  (I would like to see a great turnout of members there!!!)  so lets here from you on this proposal.    thanks   Tom

I think july and august should both be left.  If they are smaller events so be it.

for a cookout yes it is harder, but wheeling is another story all together.

There were to many problems with the location for the cookout that made it unworkable for some of us.  No dogs, no booze no wheeling etc....  I'm sure I could have gotten out of work if I had tried but the event wasn't worth it to me.

I'm pretty sure a few of us voiced our concerns about that but that's history....

So are you going to take the beauty queen out on the 16th or will she be having a spa day in prep for her show on sunday?

I have no edit button I even tried a different web browser.

Jeez tom you stroke yourself enough in your own posts now you have to edit other peoples posts to stroke yourself as well, so sad didn't mom hug you enough as a child?

Oh and going back to something I said the last time you edited my posts, if your going to do it, at least use some grammar and spelling so I don't look as illiterate as you :D
