well, tom dropped the quad at my house tonight, for anybody wanting to know looks like a 1980's suzuki quadracer 230, meaning it is a four stroke.
the good:
has douglas wheels
decent aftermarket tires (never heard of the brand that they are)
dg exhaust, dont know if it is a slip on or full system
has reverse
plastics are decent for the age of the quad, but the kid who owned it after tom painted them black...
The bad
clutch cable is junk
rear axle housing bearings are junk
throttle cable appears to be junk
both sprockets, chain, and rear pads are junk
doesnt run (i belive because the throttle and clutch cable beeing junk)
pushed it down my hill and did a 1st gear drop and it ran for a couple of seconds before dieing.
i and possibly ethan are gonna tinker with it tomorrow after work, anybody that 1 is wanting a fun project should jump on this, or somebody who has money to spend but not a lot of it and wants something to ride this might be a good choice.
dont ask me anything on price seeing as i dont own it, only doing tom the favor of trying to get it to run. only thing i can answer is facts on the quad itself.
