Texas.....
« on: August 19, 2008, 07:23:18 AM »
Well I'm off to Fort Sam Houston TX.  It's about a 2,000 mile drive listed for 32 hours.  The saab has everything done to her that I can think of.(including a new exhaust damnit)  Planning to drive 12-16 hours a day putting me there in a little over 2 days.  I have to report in on Friday so I should have time left to spare.

You guys have fun and I'll see you when I get back.  I'll take pics along the way and post up when I find free internet access from the road.

I should be back late October around the 25th give or take depending on the drive time home.

Well I finally found internet access so life is good even if it is 10 min off post to get it lol.

I made it to Fort Sam around 9:30 am on Thursday got checked in and have been sitting with a thumb up my butt till tomorrow.  I'll be checking on occasion with you guys and letting you know what's going on.

Today we went to Sea World for my Birthday had a good time enjoyed the shows and the scenery :D

Well the first week of school is over and I'm averaging a 95% on all tests and quizs.  next week we have a fairly big exam.  I'm getting ready to go float down the river in a inner tube and get drunk so life should be good for the long weekend.

I will say that this getting up at 4am bullshit to go running is already getting old.....  Surprisingly this old man is keeping up with the young kids pretty well.
