Hello Members. I want to let you know that SNHLR has received its Tax I.D.# from the IRS today as well as its own bank account. The account is set up as a civic organization with me listed as the contact person for the club. Other than that, the club is now seen as its own entity. Congratulations all. I ordered checks for the club as well as a debit card under the SNHLR name. Everything went smoothly at the bank as they were eager to help our organization get settled. I will have internet access to the accounts and hope to post monthly financial reports as the statements come in. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. thanks! Tom

since we have a tax number and we are officially a club. does that mean we get to vote now on how the money is spent? i think all members should have a say on what we do with the funds. i don't agree on spending club funds on coffee and donuts ( buy your own if you need them). who's two signatures are required on the check as we no longer have a secretary?

the donut holes and coffee have always been on me! never cost the club a dime. but if you guys dont want the coffee it will save me the $23.00 out of my own pocket. as far as the checks go, i will let you all decide who the treasurer should be. 2 signitures??? no issues except i will need someone to step up, become our treasurer and be available to meet me at banknorth to sign the signiature card for the account. must be focused with the task and ready to respond to my requests, PM's, etc. Again....the coffee never cost the club anything, you dont want it, dont drink it.... this club WILL continue to get coffee and donuts on me. so, you are willing to sign checks and do the job, you can step up and apply. but you will be responsive in a timely manner.

the dues will be used for the most part to cover meets, monthly or otherwise, ie: coffee
The dues should at the moment only be used for the running of the forum by Chris

jimmy...thanks for that update. i guess i typed that for the humor value!!!! chris knows what the club is reimbursing him.... i take care of the coffee, its on me!!! the decals and printed materials come from the dues. there is no abuse of funds if that is what you are thinking. i do appreciate the concern as i hope every member would be. we did have a discrepency in the total when i received the funds from Lu., but we figured that out. we didnt have as many paid members as we thought. There were banking fees that were taken while the funds were at BOA. I have donated a lot this last week when it came to printed items. we are right on track if not better. that raffle back when..... that too was on me!!! not the club... bug spray?
