Had a quick look under the truck, UJ's feel tight, will jack it up the weekend after i clean it and try it then. What i did find was a 2inch branch wedged between the rear wheel and the other end wedged between the hand brake drum, hoping that was making it vibrate.
Took my winch off, turned out to be a loose terminal on one of the bushes, so that working now. Should get a new  top hose tomorrow from DAP, might as well do the bottom at the same time so truck should be ready for more trails after the weekend. Told Brenda we had a good time and it was more fun than the winter romp so she's pissed, she not gonna miss the next one.

lol  jimmy i said the same to LuAn and she was mad to lol... it definatly sounded like a dry u joint... that is a very distinct noise and i could also hear the "ching" noise from the rear when shifting from reverse to 1st.... glad to hear that it was a easy fix on the winch... i finished up the mounts for mine soo it will be on for the next trip out....

That "ching" going into reverse is just the smooth shifting R380 . No syncro on reverse.

well fitted the winch today, half way through putting on the rope there was a loud crack, bang, flash and it stopped. took it off again and it was the same live in the motor, all back together, hopefully it'll keep working now. put on new top hose, was gonna do the bottom, couldn't be bothered. jacked up the truck, UJ's seem fine, greased them. now the vibrating on the way home,
1, branch wedged between hand brake drum and rear wheel
2, noticed today hand brake stuck on, jacked rear wheel and put it drive to free it
3, tail pipe pushed up behind the cross member, rubbing the gas tank and a few other places.
will give it a test drive tomorrow and see how it is.
broke 6 plastic rivets on the rear eyebrow, lucky my frieind brought 40 over when he came in feb.
still needs a good power wash.
