Ethan, and anyone else I am going to be unloading RRC parts after winter romp, like body panels and other pieces.  let me know if you want anything, I am ditching the classic bodies.

you cant just put an orange triangle on it and run it on the road. It has to be registered as a tractor. There are restrictions as to where you can drive.
You can't run an uninspected vehicle on a 10 day plate in Maine (ask me how I know that)

You'd need to register it in Conn. Can't you get a temp reg. there?

not trying to be a dickhead, just be helpfull. Although, personally speaking in any group that I'm responsible for all vehicles will have to be in compliance with not only the Romp guidelines but will need to be road legal.

Thanks Matt! those triangles can be very misleading, coulda led me into a lot of trouble down the road.
In CT your truck does not need to be inspected to get a 10 day plate. When i got a temp plate for my truck, it was just so i could drive it to the DMV for them to check the vin #. After that i got back in line and got real plates the same day.

New Hampshire will issue a temporary plate just with a Bill of Sale, $10, and a license. You could always have someone here get one for you. Just write a bill of sale for the truck.

I checked this out with Bruce Fowler as we had thought about bringing a Buggy with 44" boggers up to break trail. All vehicles will need to be road legal, registered and insured.
So the buggy stays home as it uis still fairly expensive to insure it for the weekend.

I am going to get a temp registration, I am sure if I brought it up there I would not get caught, but I don't want to get caught and give the rally bad publicity.  It does not seem too dificult to get temperary registration in my state, now I just need to insure it for the couple days.

I usually head up Friday AM to assess the conditions and get the Dickey road broken in at least to the power line so people can get off the road.

This was last year
