EEP!
I am starting to get stressed out about winter Romp. I just booked the Hotel Motel Holiday Inn and decided to go brush guard less and just order some jate rings from DAP. Turns out he is out of stock so now I am struggling to figure out what to do. If I order from EE then I am spending $200 and that is just plain stupid since I would rather put the money towards a real bumper if I can get to work again. Any ideas??
DAP has the welded ones in stock but I am scared of them, if I can't find anything else I guess I will have to go with the welded Jate rings.
Anyone want to barter for a real bumper? I have lots of nice disco parts : )

Go with the welded, and remove the brush guard. Welds can be very very strong when done right. Just think, you're whole chassis is welded together for suspension components and such.

I do know that welds can be very strong, in fact stronger than the actual metal its welded to sometimes, I just worry about trusting the welds on those jate rings and would obviously prefer the solid forged pieces.
