I had time to install my front recovery points because school got let out early. Only downside was that it was 5 degrees and snowing but they're done! With 4 grade 8 bolts a piece. I mounted my cb on the dash... I have yet to figure out if its working or not but it is all hooked up. I should be mounting up the swampers this weekend in just enough time to check/change fluids and grease up everything else on the truck. AND my heater i cobbled together out of random bits is working! I just need to fix a leak in the air duct I think... but it definatly is making  noticeable amounts of warm air.

as of yesterday he is waiting on calipers for his truck. His truck may not make it up there, but I have extended the invite for him to ride up with me. I'll keep you posted

Rob too bad my ford f350 isn't a flatbed, we could just put your truck on the bed, and then put my truck on the trailer.  we used to do this with a jeep willy's in our 85 f150.  then we wouldn't need to drive 50 the whole way

yea 50 the whole way, and then still dealing with the possiblily of it blowing up on the road isnt all that appealing. Im looking in to finding a buddy with a trailer or i might rent one if i have to.
i have a diesel suburban that will pull it just fine, now i just need to find a trailer.

BTW swampers are mounted and ready to roll. One of the tires i had with better tread would not balance at all???? So that one is going to have to be my spare while one with almost no side lugs (just on one side of the tire, the other one is fine) is going to have to be put into use. No way in hell would i want to drive up 6 hours (prolly 8 in rover time) on that tire.

checked my UJ's they seem fine, checked wheel bearings, also fine, lock nuts were a bit loose on one of the wheels. packed with grease and tightend lock nuts. hopefully that is what was causing the slight vibration i was having. not road tested it yet. as for the lockers, i have live going into the relay but not coming out. wiggle the relay and i hear it clicking but no power to the motor.
3rd low and boot it

Tore down my drivers front swivel today, cleaned it out good and replaced swivel ball seal and brake caliper.  All buttoned back up, refilled, bled, adjusted and ready to Romp.

I got my winch working today the hydraulic is slower but it is quiet and will work all day.  I managed to crush a rap of cable on my first test pull though, so I will be careful with it now.  I made a set of chains for the rear just in case, bled the brakes, packed up a ton of spare parts, put on a new driver door, painted the hood, fenders, and tailgate, and put new engine mounts in.  now I just have to weld on my recovery points in the front and figure out what fluid goes in the borgwarner case.  anyone know?
