I'd like to say that Carine and I had a wonderful time. So with the new Discovery I picked up on Thursday evening sitting in my garage barely even looked at yet, my Jeep Wrangler sitting on the street with a punctured fuel line and snapped shock mount I opted to spend my time uploading all my pics and videos : ) Hope you all enjoy. If anyone wants the higher quality video let me know and I will email it to you if I can size wise.

Right back at ya Matt!   Good to see you enjoying in the rover instead of toilling under one!

Follow up post:

The Infamous Brook Plop?  That sucked.  What would have worse is if the camera got lost or destroyed.  I am surprised that the damn thing stayed on.    Holy Cripe!

:) 'll give your son credit for the inspiration for that one, something to the effect that you popped it out of gear right when you got to the bottom, what were you thinking?.  I have another video of you struggling stuck in the hole with the camera sitting there, good thing you were smooth or that would have been swimming with the fishes!

The Jeep thing... well at the hill climb by the powerlines, the Rubicon with chains that just putted up the icey hill after Steve tried 3 times in his Disco II. That was the last straw for me, I said I have to do it. If a jeep (granted it was a rubicon so it was fully locked and had some sick chains)just made it I felt obliged to restore honor to the LR marquis.

I was thinking that I had to use 2 hands on the wheel or break my wrist When I popped over that rock, the truck popped out of gear. I was basically in neutral for 1 second and then it was too late. Once I lost forward momentum, it was over. Had I been first up, the truck would have walked over the ice and up the hill with no effort. In this case, I got "sloppy seconds" LOL!   It's all good though!
