Finally! A NICE WEEKEND
« on: March 10, 2009, 09:59:06 AM »
So, weather hit 50 degrees this weekend.
Time to work on the rover.* It was a busy weekend..

New watts linkage
New front/rear wipers
Attempt to rebuild rear wiper motor.... WTB Rear wiper motor :p
Drop headliner to fix leak.
Fixed drain tubes (drain nipples broken off completely on both sides, fixed with brass tubing and a metric ton of RTV clear silicon adhesive/sealant).
Replaced headliner.
Rained Sat night.... redropped headliner to find new leak.
Fixed box that drain tube attached to that had seperated from drain pan.
Removed rear sunroof motor and attached to front to check function of front sunroof (works, THANK GOD).
Attempted to rebuild front sunroof motor..... WTB Sunroof motor
Reattached rear sunroof motor to rear sunroof.
Reattached headliner... .WTB new rear sunroof switch (Where The F*** did I put that thing?)
Removed rear step.
New passenger seat control switch. Still wont move but at least the motor engages now.
Replaced front headlight washer nozzles and connection lines.
Rotated the tires.

whew.....now to find out why my OBDII won't read and stop getting pulled over for inspection

Sounds like a busy weekend. I'll check tonight if the DI rear wiper motor will work on the DII. It should, since the door itself is the identical part number.
