Heading to ME late July

I'm spending a week up around Mt Desert Island at the end of July and was wondering if anyone is in that area. Mostly I'll be spending time hiking in and around the park, but I plan on bringing my truck so the girl and I can get away from the other 2 couples in case they want to do touristy stuff.

If anyone is going to be around or could point me in a direction for some scenic wheeling let me know. Thanks!

Have fun with that trip!   Sounds great!  My daughter rock climbs up there quite a bit and knows Mt Desert like the back of her hand!
